Executive Director

Mark Jorritsma serves as Executive Director of North Dakota Family Alliance – a role he assumed in 2016. His professional career has spanned 38 years in both the private and nonprofit sectors, including serving in COO/EVP roles at World Vision U.S., the Maryland Food Bank, and the National Association of County and City Health Officials.  Before God called him to a career of helping others in the nonprofit world, Mark worked in the consulting arena for almost 11 years, including owning his own firm, The Perimedes Group, which performed economic analysis, fiscal impact forecasting, and strategic planning.

Mark graduated from Calvin College with a B.A. in Economics, and from Michigan State University with an M.A. in Economics. He is blessed with a family that includes his wife Ruth, a Certified Public Accountant, his son Christopher who works as a software engineer in Mandan, his daughter Stephanie who does freelance communications work, and a goofy but lovable rescue dog named Annie. Mark is honored and humbled by God’s calling on his life to serve in his current role at NDFA, and to represent thousands of Christians across North Dakota in the policy arena. Soli Deo gloria.
